Cornus sericea 'Flaviramea' Shrub

Cornus sericea 'Flaviramea' Shrub

Cornus sericea 'Flaviramea' is a very hardy deciduous shrub with bright greenish-yellow stems that will brighten up any garden in winter. It is from these it gets its common names, Yellow or Golden Twig Dogwood.

Clusters of small off-white flowers form around May and June, leading on to white berries in autumn. The dark green, ovate leaves turn orange or red in autumn before dropping off and revealing the vibrant stems.

'Flaviramea' will grow in most soil conditions, preferring well-drained soil. They are relatively fast growing and happy in full sun or partial shade. Dogwoods look great either individually or as a group for brightening up winter borders.

We also offer other Dogwood shrubs with different coloured stems.
