Flowers are followed by large, green foliage that turn yellow and orange in autumn, before falling to reveal the arching and spreading form. Hamamelis are also of great value to wildlife.

Hamamelis x intermedia 'Pallida' has deservedly received the RHS Award of Garden Merit. Expect a height and spread of 3 x 3 metres in 20 years when given a well drained, acid - neutral soil in partial shade or full sun. This yellow Witch Hazel will also tolerate some exposure.
