Hydrangea Quercifolia or Oak-leaved hydrangea is a striking deciduous shrub, admired for its large, deeply lobed leaves that resemble those of an oak, turning a vivid red in autumn. The leaves are complimented by pretty creamy-white flowers which appear in summer and last through to autumn. Growing to a maximum of 2 x 3 metres in 20 years, this hydrangea is ideal for small gardens.
Suited to moist but well-drained soils in full sun or partial shade in a sheltered environment.
