Laburnum alpinum 'Pendulum' Tree
Laburnum alpinum 'Pendulum' has graceful weeping branches which are enhanced by the colourful racemes that drape from them around May and June. The racemes of flowers are highly scented and a pretty mid-yellow that seem to glow against the light/mid green, pinnate foliage. The flowers are also attractive to bees.
This is a beautiful small weeping tree that is ideal for pot planting or small spaces. Scotch laburnum 'Pendulum' will grow to 2.5 x 2 metres in a sunny position with most well-drained soils including chalk and will tolerate cold, inland exposure.
