Laxton's Superb Apple Tree
Apple Laxton's Superb is a sweet flavoured classic British eating apple cultivated in the Victoria era. The apples have red and green skin, with the pale flesh inside being firm and aromatic. Descending from Cox's Orange Pippin and Wyken Pippin, Laxton's Superb has similarities in taste to the ever popular Cox but is better cropping.
Laxton's Superb apple tree is fairly late cropping and apples are ready to eat from late October. It is partially self-fertile, but will crop better with a suitable pollination partner.
