Compared with the better known 'Golden Hornet', this variety of Flowering Crab Apple is more balanced in shape and has better disease resistance.
Having been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit, this small Crab Apple tree will eventually reach a height and spread of about 4 x 3 metres. Malus 'Comtesse de Paris' is densely branching, with a rounded habit and, like other Malus, it is happiest in a sunny or partially shaded situation but can tolerate any soil type.
